Seria 24 wydruków stanowi kompleksową syntezę warstwy wizualnej bondowskiej sagi: każda sekunda z każdej kinowych produkcji skompresowana została tu do jednego piksela, który następnie rozciągnięty został na linii okręgu. W wyniku tego cyfrowego procesu filmy zamienione został w rodzaj wielobarwnych „kodów kreskowych”.

Kolorowe linie zakreślone na wydrukach odwołują wyobraźnię do zapisanych w pamięci obrazów: jasne odsyłać mogą do przygód rozgrywających się w górskich czy też pustynnych krajobrazach, ciemne – do scen z mrocznych podziemi czy też nocnych eskapad agenta 007. Zestaw 24 „dysków” stanowi rodzaj metaforycznego wyobrażenia uniwersum, w którym rozgrywa się mit Jamesa Bonda. Z jednej strony ma charakter kinofilskiej, obsesyjnej analizy wizualnych tropów, na których od sześciu dekad bazuje brytyjska saga; z drugiej prowokuje prowadzoną z dystansu refleksję nad repetytywnym i schematycznym charakterem opowieści o agencie Jej Królewskiej Mości.

The series of 24 prints is a complex synthesis of the Bond saga’s visual layer: every second of each Bond production has been compressed here into a single pixel, which was then stretched into a circle. As a result of this digital process, the films have been turned into a kind of multicoloured ‘barcodes’.

The colourful lines drawn on the prints refer the imagination to the pictures stored in the memory: the bright ones may refer to the adventures in mountain or desert landscapes, the dark ones to the scenes from the dark underworld or the night-time escapades of agent 007. The set of 24 ‘discs’ is a kind of metaphorical representation of the universe in which the James Bond myth takes place. On the one hand, it has the character of a cinephilic, obsessive analysis of the visual tropes on which the British saga has been based for six decades; on the other, it provokes a distance reflection on the repetitive and schematic character of the story of the agent on Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
